Who are they?
Located near La Motte in Provence, Château d'Esclans is closely associated with the international rise of contemporary Provençal rosé. Sacha Lichine bought the estate in 2006 with the ambition of producing rosés capable of occupying a much larger place in the wine world. Whispering Angel quickly became the house's best-known bottling and helped popularize on a large scale the pale, dry and delicate style now associated with Provence. The estate also produces several more ambitious cuvées that explore different expressions of the region's rosé.
