The producer
Who are they?
In Saint‑Louis, on the banks of the Yamaska, Domaine du Nival has been farming three hectares of vines since 2013. Here, the vineyard is thought of as an ecosystem before being merely a grape production. Pinot noir, Gamaret, Vidal and Albariño grow alongside cover crops, vegetables, plants and a multitude of living organisms that the estate seeks to nourish rather than control. Certified organic, Nival goes much further than the basic regulations by drawing on regenerative agriculture, permaculture and a constant observation of living systems. In the cellar, this philosophy continues with native fermentations and minimal intervention. Singular wines, sometimes disorienting, but always intimately tied to place and vintage.

In the vineyard
Certified organic, the estate also draws on regenerative agriculture and permaculture. Cover crops, plants, micro‑organisms and manual work all help create a living vineyard.
In the cellar
Fermentations rely on native yeasts and bacteria. The wines are neither fined nor filtered and the estate has not used sulphites in its cuvées since 2020.

The estate is not regularly open to the public. Order pickups are by appointment on weekdays and occasional open‑house days are organized for purchases, visits and tastings.
