Segura Viudas

Based in Torrelavit, in the Penedès, Segura Viudas occupies an old estate whose history dates back to the Middle Ages. The Segura brothers acquired the property in the 1950s and began marketing their own cava before launching Reserva Heredad in 1969. Today, the house works with the traditional Cava grape varieties — notably Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada — and emphasizes the traditional method, time spent on the lees and the preservation of the estate’s biodiversity. Its cuvées offer a clear gateway into the world of Cava, from approachable bubbles to more complex, long-aged expressions.
