The producer
Who are they?
Cousiño-Macul is one of Chile's historic wine estates. Matías Cousiño acquired Hacienda Macul in 1856 at the foot of the Andes, and the family wine business later developed under Luis Cousiño and Isidora Goyenechea. More than 160 years later, the winery states that it remains fully owned by the founding family. Its identity is closely connected to the Maipo Valley and classic Chilean wines, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon.
