Who are they?
Pascal et Alain Lorieux travaillent deux vignobles situés de part et d'autre de la Loire, à Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil et à Cravant-les-Côteaux dans l'appellation Chinon. Les deux frères ont réuni leurs exploitations tout en conservant des chais distincts afin de préserver l'identité de chaque terroir. Le Cabernet franc occupe une place centrale dans leur travail. Pour la cuvée Chinon Expression, les raisins proviennent notamment de vignes installées sur le plateau dominant la vallée, sur des sols d'argiles à silex. Leur approche privilégie la maturité du fruit, des vinifications précises et des vins qui restent accessibles tout en exprimant clairement leur origine.

Two Loire terroirs
The brothers work both in Chinon and in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, with separate cellars to preserve the distinct identity of each appellation.
Cabernet Franc at the center
Cabernet Franc is at the heart of the estate and expresses itself differently depending on the soils and parcels tended by the two brothers.
